Héritage de Château Gunes 2019 – Haut-Médoc

The nose offers power and intensity. There are hints of ripe/chunky wild blackcurrant, wild blackberry and more slightly blueberry, rose combined with hints of crushed raspberry as well as fine Bourbon vanilla and a hint of spice. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality, fatness, some fluidity and a mineral framework. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and, more slightly, pulpy raspberry, combined with touches of creamy red berries, hints of Bourbon vanilla and a subtle hint of liquorice and sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are relatively soft. Fine salinity in the background.
