Henri et Gilles Remoriquet – Rue de Chaux 2019 – Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power (all in finesse), intensity (in finesse), complexity as well as a stretched side. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, rose and small notes of lilac associated with touches of crushed purple plum, redcurrants as well as hints of wild strawberry, pink pepper, fine hints of fresh tobacco, a subtle hint of tea and an imperceptible hint of bramble. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, elegant, delicate, all in lightness / elegance and offers complexity, a beautiful definition as well as a good job on the bitterness. A beautiful freshness and finely unctuous texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed plum and small notes of cornflowers associated with small touches of rose, lily, vanilla as well as hints of red berries, chocolate, toasted / caramelized, a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and an imperceptible almost white flowers hint. Tannins are precise, elegant and suave. Beautiful length and suavity on the finish.
