The nose is fresh, spicy, relatively powerful and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of fresh violet and pulpy wild blueberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, lily, and fine hints of pepper. The palate is fruity, nicely juicy, fresh, and balanced and offers a fresh/tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright/fresh plum, and more slightly – hints of violet associated with touches of bright red fruits as well as a subtle hint of crushed blueberry, fresh almond, and a very discreet hint of peony (on the finish). Good length. Nice freshness and minerality.
