Haut-Médoc Giscours, Grande Réserve 2023 – Haut-Médoc

Lovely fruity nose, pulpy, gourmand, finely creamy and which offers depth as well as a fine graphite side. It reveals notes of violet, bright strawberry, small bright fruits and small notes of pulpy blackberry associated with fine hints of crushed redcurrants as well as a subtle hint of liquorice and lily. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a tangy frame, accuracy, tension, gourmandize, suppleness, delicacy, depth, aromatic purity as well as a nice little floral side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, small bright red fruits and small notes of pulpy/bright blackberry associated with a touch of crunchy raspberry as well as delicate floral hints (rose, lilac, lily) and a subtle almost saline hint in the background. The tannins are sapid and mellow. Good length. Lovely tangy and salty persistence.
