The nose is fresh, floral, airy and deep. We find notes of fresh cassis, crunchy redcurrant and more lightly, violet and rose, associated with a hint of sappy and gray pepper. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, airy, floral, sappy and offers an eucalyptus, a linear side as well as a certain brightness of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crisp cassis, fresh cherry and more lightly, fresh redcurrant, associated with touches of tonka bean, toasted as well as fine hints of toasted almond, a hint of nutmeg and a subtle hint of gravel. Tannins are mellow, well-built and finely chalky. A subtle hint of sappy (in the background) and a very discreet hint of saltiness on the finish.
