The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals a certain brightness, a fine crystalline quality. There are notes of pulpy/chunky cherry, crushed boysenberry and more lightly blueberry with hints of crushed/confitured red berries combined with a hint of lily, gunflint as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco, a fine hint of vanillin, fine hints of sweet spice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, acidity, and a nice definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, bright red berries and more lightly juicy/fresh blueberry combined with hints of violet, lily, chocolate, toasted almond and fine nuances of nutmeg. The tannins are racy.
