Haut Gardat 2019 – Montagne Saint-Emilion 

The nose is finely tight and offers a small intensity as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small berries, small notes of spices associated with fine touches of pepper, small red fruits, a subtle hint of violet, vanilla as well as fine hints of spices and a very fine hint of clove. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good freshness, a racy minerality, a fine acidulous frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with a touch of cherry blossom, violet, small juicy berries as well as fine hints of fresh mild tobacco, cardamom and a very discreet hint of cloves. Good length.
