The wine has a deep golden color. The nose is aromatic, pure and very fruity. It expresses notes of roasted golden apple, yellow Williams pear, gooseberry jam, strawberry tree jam, yellow plum jam, dried apricot, dried green apple, as well as flowers (flower of lemon tree, orange blossom) and flower honey. On the palate, the wine offers an oily and enveloping texture, balanced by a good level of acidity. It expresses notes of candied apple, pineapple in syrup, yellow peach in syrup, dried apricot, orange jam, poached pear, candied lemon peel, as well as fine floral hints (rose petals in syrup, orange blossom) and a sweet touch of vanilla and crystallised mint. The finish is long, on the sweet side of fruits in syrup (pineapple, peach) and honey, associated with a freshness of citrus jam and salivating acidity. A rich, generous wine, but with freshness.
