Günter + Regina Triebaumer, Gelber Muskateller Beerenauslese – Burgenland – 2021

The wine has a deep golden color. The nose is very fragrant and floral. On the first nose, the wine expresses notes of fresh rose and rose petals in syrup, accompanied by aromas of exotic fruits on the second nose. We find notes of lychee, mangosteen, ripe mango, a touch of banana and papaya, as well as a pronounced note of fresh grapes, associated with a touch of ripe yellow peach and pineapple in syrup, refreshed by a hint of candied lime. There is also spiciness of nutmeg and ground ginger in the background. On the palate, the wine expresses a richness in sugar and pronounced flavors of exotic fruit and fruit in syrup. We find notes of fresh ripe grapes, peach in syrup, pineapple in syrup, lychee, ripe mango, banana, a spicy touch of nutmeg and ginger, as well as a floral note of petals of rose in syrup. The finish is quite persistent and perfumed, with sweet notes of fruit in syrup, with a supple acidity. A very rich and concentrated wine.
