Guerritore – Cariti 2022 – Colli di Salerno IGT Merlot

A pretty, elegant, aromatic nose offering a certain intensity, precision and depth. There are notes of small brilliant wild fruits, graphene, cornflower and small notes of star anise, associated with touches of crushed raspberry, as well as discreet hints of nutmeg and a subtle hint of star anise. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, it presents a fresh frame, suppleness, gourmandise and accuracy, and offers a lovely, fresh chiseled. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild cassis, violet plum and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of cornflower, little blue flowers, nutmeg, cardamom, chocolate, as well as hints of bourbon vanilla, toasted-fresh hazelnut and a hint of roasting. Gourmandise. A very discreet hint of almost fresh thyme in the background. Good length. Freshness, minerality and beautiful purity of fruit. Nice saline character.
