The nose is aromatic, slightly concentrated and racy. It reveals notes of liquorice, cassis and small black berries associated with a subtle hint of garrigue/dry ground of the local forest as well as a very discreet hint of spices and dry olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fullness, a small fat, a small gourmandize, generosity, a good definition, a small unctuosity as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and liquorice associated with fine touches of black olive, blackberry as well as fine hints of ripe wild strawberry, touches of spices and an imperceptible hint of minerality. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length.
