Grasso Fratelli – Barbaresco DOCG 2018 Vallegrande, Treiso

On the nose it is fruity, finely tight and offers some small concentration. It reveals notes of wild raspberry, wild red berries and slightly violet associated with small touches of plum as well as fine hints of fresh grove as well as a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, minerality, gourmandize, a little fat as well as a fine richness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, raspberry and more slightly tangy / juicy strawberry associated with touches of acidulous cassis, with hints of rose, lily as well as fine hints of zan / liquorice and a discreet hint of pepper. The tannins are precise and well-built. Good length. Presence of a subtle hint of undergrowth in the background.
