Grand Vin du Château des Places 2020 – Graves

The nose is aromatic and offers a small power, a certain concentration and a small richness/creaminess. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, vanilla, small notes of creamy raspberry associated with touches of juicy/acidulous Boysen berry as well as hints of vanilla, grey pepper, sweet spices, fine hints of salinity and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a small freshness, tension as well as dynamism and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy Boysen berry, raspberry, small notes of juicy/fresh cherry associated with touches of lily, nutmeg as well as hints of citrus, fine hints of racy minerality, a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. A beautiful gourmand, juicy, fresh and relatively incisive wine.
