The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine and offers a fine density/richness. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with small notes of crushed strawberry, chocolate as well as subtle touches of caramelization and almond. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a small fat, tension, a good freshness, fullness, a good definition, a crunchy/fresh fruit as well as a slightly tight material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and more slightly black cherry associated with small touches of ripe red berries, raspberry/crunchy wild redcurrant as well as fine touches of toasted, almond and discreet hints of tonka bean. Tannins are fine and slightly tight. The finish is slightly powdered.
