Grand Vin de Reignac 2023 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, intensity in precision, elegance as well as depth. It reveals notes of boysenberry, concentrated blackcurrant and small notes of small bright wild red berries associated with touches of pepper, black plum, bergamot as well as fine hints of infusion, sage, almost a pine/resin side, sweet pepper, toast and vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, freshness, a little tension, accuracy, good definition, a nice sapidity, a certain fat, harmony, a nice tannic structure as well as a little spherical side. Softness in the middle of the palate. A little elegant darkness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry and pulpy blackcurrant associated with touches of red fruits (with a Mediterranean accent) as well as fine hints of graphene, tonka bean, pine needles, toast, vanilla and cocoa. The tannins are soft and sapid. Good length. Beautiful fresh and tangy finish. A lovely juicy, soft, sapid and gourmet wine!
