The nose is fruity, creamy, elegant and offers a certain intensity, power as well as race. It reveals notes of creamy wild blackcurrant, wild blackberry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of small blue fruits, graphite, camphor as well as fine hints of violet and pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, nicely balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh/juicy frame, lovely energy, roundness, fat, precision, gourmandise as well as generosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly small creamy/fresh red fruits associated with a touch of toast, hints of cornflower, star anise, a very discreet sappy hint (in the background) as well as a subtle hint of graphite, pepper and caramelization (in the background). The tannins are supple, elegant and distinguished. A subtle hint of good bitterness in the background. A beautiful minerality that carries.
