On the nose, fruity and offers elegance, controlled power, depth and a nice definition as well as a multi-layer side. It reveals fleshy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly pulpy/sparkling berry, combined with hints of violet, licorice stick, bursting blue berries as well as hints of toasted hazelnut, bourbon vanilla bean and a subtle waft of grey pepper. On the palate, fruity, elegant, and just right/masterly, which does not hinder the generosity of the fruit and offers minerality, elegance, gourmandize, a nice definition, a little tension and a little straightness. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly pulpy plum combined with hints of pulpy/juicy red berries as well as wafts of light tobacco, toasted almond, vanilla, a subtle hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible touch of saffron (in the background). The tannins are elegant and polished.
