The nose is fruity, gourmand, quite generous, silky and relatively intense. It reveals notes of black cherry, plum and fine notes of cassis associated with a hint of oak, spice and licorice. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, well-balanced, well structured, precise, relatively aerial and offers a nice minerality, a nice freshness, a beautiful definition, a beautiful purity of the fruit and a nice silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, cassis jam and slight notes of blueberry, strawberry associated with a hint of cherry, slight / discreet notes of mocha as well as discreet notes of oak / liquorice. Tannins are fine, firm and offers a good maturity (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and persistence with slight toasted touches and hazelnut on the aftertaste.
