The nose is fruity, relatively powerful, gourmand and offers a certain concentration. It reveals notes of sour cherry, cassis jam and slight notes of blackberry associated with a hint of raspberry jam, flowers as well as a touch of Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of Ceylon tea. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, suave and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful tension as well as a beautiful silky and slightly creamy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, plum and flint associated with fine touches of strawberry, very fine notes of toasted oak as well as slight touches of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine, elegant, well made and a bit firm.
