The nose is fruity, fresh and offers good definition. There are notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, juicy blackberry and, more slightly, violet plum, combined with a fine touch of fresh strawberry, as well as hints of graphite, tonka bean and a discreet touch of toastiness. The palate is fruity and reveals a lovely acidic backbone, minerality, fine tension, an airy approach and energy. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, tart blackcurrant and more slightly pulpy/juicy raspberry notes combined with hints of crisp strawberry as well as fine graphite, salinity and a subtle hint of toastiness.
