(94.6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.2% Merlot, 0.2% Petit Verdot) The nose is fresh, mineral, deep and aromatic. A multi-layered side. There are notes of ripe/fresh wild cassis, fresh cherry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of fresh raspberry, fine hints of nutmeg, sweet tobacco, cocoa nibs, as well as hints of bergamot and a discreet hint of infusion. The palate is nicely fruity, fresh (nice freshness), mineral, balanced and offers roundness, gourmandise, a certain roundness, fatness in freshness, a nice stretched side, a certain condensed side, a nice definition, gourmandise, silkiness, a tangy frame, energy, purity, mellowness, voluptuous and a nice depth. A coating side in mid-palate. This wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, fresh raspberry and small notes of small ripe wild red berries, combined with a touch of juicy cassis, as well as fine hints of sweet tobacco, toasted, almost juicy-roasted fruit, smoke and toasted hazelnut. A nice chalky side on the finish/persistence.
