It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of violet associated with very fine hints of peony, spices,chocolate and very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of tonka bean and Bourbon vanilla.The palate is fruity, very beautifully well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, a beautiful definition, minerality, a very fine acidulous frame (in the background), a beautiful elegance, freshness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, complexity, a beautiful richness (but full of finesse/subtility), gourmandize as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of small fresh red berries, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of flowers and sweet spices/toasted. Tannins are elegant. Very fine firmness on the finish. There are hints of dark chocolate and toasted on the finish. Good length and persistence.
