The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a certain richness (but full of balance and delicacy). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, ripe/fresh strawberry and slight hints of cassis, racy minerality associated with discreet hints of cardamom, a slight/discreet hint of chocolate as well as very slight hints of violet and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a very beautiful freshness/juiciness, an acid frame, tension, concentration (but full in finesse) as well as a beautiful deepness. A monster of power but full in finesse! In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe redcurrant and slight notes of raspberry associated with hints of cassis as well as discreet hints of chocolate oak, cardamom, a very discreet hint of caramelization as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla and a hint of racy minerality (terroir). Tannins are very fine, elegant and offer already a beautiful maturity for their age. Good length. A great wine!
