(Vines are more of 100 years old) The nose is powerful and structured. It reveals notes of ripe fruit and cherry associated with a touch of cassis, menthol as well as sweet spices. The mouth is suave, racy, elegant, right, relatively round, powerful, complex and offers a nice finesse. In the mouth it expresses notes of blackcurrant and blackberry associated with a touch of blueberries, crushed strawberry and a few notes of sweet spices, a very light note of chocolate as well as small woody notes and a very light minty note . There is also a very fine note of toasted hazelnut on the finish. Tannins are elegant. Good length. A wine made in a “new world” style.
