The nose is fruity, ripe, structured and offers a beautiful freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and fine touches of fleshy/juicy cherry, red berries associated with discreet touches of spices, iris/bulb, very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper as well as very fine touch of tonka bean and almond. The palate is fruity, mineral, beautifully fresh, well-balanced and offers a beautiful tension, precision, a fine unctuosity, suavity as well as fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, raspberry and cherry associated with small notes of tonka bean as well as fine touches of zan/liquorice and discreet hints of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
