The nose is fruity and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of redcurrant, raspberry and slight touches of cassis combined with a hint of pepper as well as discreet touches of pepper and leather. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave, well-balanced and offers a good structure, a slight acid frame, concentration, tension as well as a slight richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and slight touches of wild strawberry, cherry as well as hints of liquorice, toasted oak and vanilla. Good length.
