Nice light gold color, this whisky is shiny and limpid. A powerful nose with notes of roast. The coffee is intense but also the orange spiked with cloves. There are also gourmet notes of candied fruit such as pineapple and mango. Gradually with aeration we have very pretty ginger. The palate is smoky and spicy with still nice round notes of pineapple and currant grapes. The mid-palate starts with a slight astringency. The tasting is more discreet with a delicate woodiness and sweet liquorice. The finish is vanilla with a milky caramel.
