The nose is fine, delicate and offers a fine richness (in the background) as well as complexity. It reveals notes of candied apricot and orange marmalade associated with a discreet note of date, Sherry as well as a touch of honey and a very discreet hint of buttere. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, full-bodied and offers fat, finesse, a fine tension as well as a nice definition and precision. In the mouth this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of cherry, peach and candied orange associated with fine touches of cedar wood, grilled oak / wood, malt as well as an imperceptible touch of cocoa (in the background) and a hint of cigar (in the background). Nice persistence.
