The nose is rich and incisive. It reveals notes of dried apple, sherry and cherry combined with touches of leather, orange, spices as well as very fine notes of bog, walnuts, curcumin, mushroom and white pepper. The palate is powerful, rich and aromatic. It expresses notes of dried fruits (grapes, dates, figs …) and rancio combined with notes of fruits in syrup, apricot, cherry in kirsch, oak, cocoa and toasted notes and slight notes of roasting on the finish. Good length. A whisky that needs an aeration of twenty minutes.
