The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is sappy and mineral, with a tangy frame of small red fruits, complemented by a fragrant floral bouquet. It first expresses delicate notes of tar, rose leaf, fresh rose, cornflower and peony. Then, we find notes of tangy strawberry, red cherry, cranberries, raspberry and blackcurrant, as well as a hint of fresh hazelnut, a toasted hint, peppermint and fresh liquorice stick in the background. The palate offers accuracy, precision and liveliness thanks to its tangy frame, structured but fine tannins, as well as a powdery mineral frame, reminiscent of limestone. We then feel the flavors of tangy red fruits (bigarreau cherry, fresh raspberry, dried red cherry, cranberries), associated with a hint of blueberry, floral notes of fresh rose, peony and cornflower, as well as herbaceous and mentholated touches (dried peppermint, a hint of blackcurrant leaf), as well as woody (fresh hazelnut, toasted hazelnut) and mineral (slightly dry limestone) hints. The acidity is salivating and fresh, nice length on the tangy red fruits.
