The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, juicy and slightly tangy. It expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, fresh raspberry, red currants, ripe red cherry with a touch of red cherry jam in the background, combined with fragrant floral aromas (fresh rose, peony, a touch of lilac), as well as as well as a subtle minerality (limestone) and herbaceous notes (dry pine needles, a touch of rosemary) which appear on the second nose. On the palate, the wine offers precision, a fresh and juicy fruitiness in the mid-palate and a fairly persistent finish, with good bitterness, gourmand notes of cocoa and a pleasant powdery texture. It expresses the flavors of ripe red cherry (even with a touch of dried red cherry), wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, a touch of blackberry, associated with floral notes (peony, lilac), a herbaceous touch (rosemary, dried mint), as well as a delicate spicy note (liquorice, cumin) in the background and a hint of minerality. The tannins are velvety, with good structure and a fine texture. A precise, well-constructed wine, with volume and gourmandise.
