The nose is structured and offers a slight concentration and power (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small red berries associated with small touches of grove, iris / cassis bud as well as pepper and hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a small fleshiness, roundness, suavity, an acid frame as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of acidulous / crunchy red berries associated with touches of crushed blueberry, laurel / grove and spices as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper (in the background) and chocolate / Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine and straight.
