Gérard Bertrand, renowned Languedoc producer is a strong advocate of sustainable practice and biodiversity, he was one of the first to introduce biodynamic farming on a large scale in the Cigalus vineyard. This blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan is very flashy with aromas of very ripe black fruits, pepper and a woody presence. On the palate, there’s rich matter, heat (especially in the finish) and a surprisingly supple tannic structure.
