(bottled: 2024) Nice frank, powerful and racy nose which offers a stretched side, complexity as well as a nice coating side. It reveals notes of dried citrus fruits, marmalade and small notes of potpourri associated with touches of Cubeb pepper, spices, a hint of fresh rancio, pine as well as discreet hints of tobacco, mirabelle plum in syrup and a discreet hint of crème brulée. The palate is fruity, round and offers a nice fruit, a small mellowness, a nice balance, precision as well as a certain delicacy in its power. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of quince, marmalade and small notes of potpourri associated with an almost minty/sappy touch, white fruits in syrup, dried brugnon, sweet spices, fresh blond tobacco as well as with fine hints of caramelization/pâtisseries and a hint of toasted almond. Good length. Power and a fine sapidity on the finish.
