The nose is fresh and reveals certain power, tense grain and intensity. There are notes of concentrated blackberry, ripe Gariguette strawberry and more lightly blackcurrant combined with delicate touches of vanilla, pepper, fine nuances of plum blossom, saffron (in its floral side) and a discreet hint of pepper and fresh gravel/terroir. The palate is fruity, a little tight and offers suavity, minerality, tension and a little stretch. On the palate this wine expresses fresh blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant/blackberry and more lightly fresh raspberry notes combined with hints of racy minerality/fresh gravel, almost saline, fine hints of flowers and a discreet hint of vanilla/sweet spice. Nice acidity on the finish/persistence.
