Gaglio Vignaioli – Grillo 2020 – Sicilia IGT

The nose is mineral, a bit tight, fresh and offers some power/concentration. It reveals notes of fresh pear, mirabelle plum and small notes of fresh star fruit associated with small touches of grapefruit, quenette and fine hints of lemon mesocarp and a discreet hint of aromatic herbs/fresh sage. The palate is fruity, elegant, slightly tight and offers straightness, a fine tension, a racy minerality and a small tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quenette, fresh mango and small notes of yellow fruits associated with touches of fresh citrus fruits, fresh ripe apple as well as slight hints of small dried fruits (almond/peanut) and an imperceptible hint of fresh sage (in the background).
