The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize, a fine concentration, elegance as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry and small notes of vanilla associated with small touches of strawberry, blueberry, toasted, toasted hazelnut as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices and sugared mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-built, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with small touches of blueberry, violet, cornfloer as well as very fine hints of liquorice, a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco and toaste. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length. Fine hints of vanilla on the finish.
