The nose is fresh, fruity and offers richness, fine grain, elegance and nice fleshy/ripe fruit. Fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, dark berry and slightly red currant notes are combined with fine hints of chocolate, bourbon vanilla, violet, a discreet hint of cherry blossom and discreet graphite. The palate is nicely fresh and reveals minerality, acidity/freshness, good definition, gourmandize, roundness and a fine airiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, bright/fresh wild blackberry and more lightly juicy/crisp berry fruit combined with fine touches of tonka bean, a fine hint of fresh lily as well as fine notes of racy minerality and a discreet hint of cocoa on the finish/persistence. Nice freshness and minerality. The tannins are powdery and mellow. Gourmandize and fine sapidity.
