The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers finesse, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine straightness. It reveals notes of wild berries, laurel berries and small notes of cassis associated with touches of crunchy small red berries, fine hints of liquorice stick as well as very discreet hints of tea, cardamom and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a beautiful freshness/juiciness, a very slightly grainy sensation, a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of laurel/laurel berries, violet as well as discreet hints of zan, a hint of tobacco and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. Tannins are elegant.
