(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose expresses notes of juicy and ripe fruits (griotte, strawberry, crushed raspberry, ripe red cherry, even red cherry jam, red currant jelly, red plum), underlined by a distinguished minerality of limestone and clay, herbaceous freshness (a fine touch of wild mint and rose leaf), delicate smoky and spicy notes (liquorice, white pepper) and a fragrant and elegant floral bouquet (fresh rose, peony, lilac). We also find a very slightly perceptible roasted side (toasted hazelnut). On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, volume, and at the same time – straightness and energy. It expresses the flavors of ripe strawberry, wild blackberry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, cranberries, crushed blueberry, associated with herbaceous touches of peppermint and rose leaf, with subtle and slightly perceptible spicy notes (liquorice, white pepper, nutmeg), as well as a fragrant floral bouquet (rose, lilac). The tannins are young, grippy, but have a fine grain. The finish is persistent and expresses a lively acidity, a good bitterness, a fine hint of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut) and the gourmandise of red fruits. A young and firm wine, which requires time.
