G.D. Vajra 2022 – Dolcetto d’Alba

The nose is elegant, fruity, gourmand and offers a certain small concentration. There are notes of pulpy purple plum, blueberry and small notes of crushed small fruits associated with touches of cornflower and a subtle hint of liquorice. The mouth is fruity, chiseled and offers minerality, precision, an acidulous frame, a good definition as well as a fine tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy purple plum, roasted cherry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of crunchy raspberry. Good length. Beautiful freshness and pulpiness. Beautiful chewy tannins. A hint of fresh almond in the background.
