Fruitière Vinicole d’Arbois 2014 – Arbois

The nose is spicy, a little closed and offers intensity and some concentration. There are notes of quince, small yellow fruits associated with hints of lemon, dried zest as well as hints of lime. There is also beeswax, hints of pepper and a very subtle touch of caramelized oak in the background. It deserves to be decanted. The palate is fruity with juice, mineral, fresh. It has a juicy / tangy frame with a good definition and a certain roundness. There are notes of juicy / tangy lemon, crushed apple and more lightly quenette combined with hints of linden, tangerine zest as well as a hint of verbena. There are sweet spices like cloves and a subtle hint of nuts. Good length, a certain palatability at the end of the palate that persists.
