The nose is fruity and offers a certain intensity, a small concentration as well as a “restrained” side. It reveals notes of quince and pulpy small yellow fruits associated with touches of kumquat and orange zest as well as hints of crushed pear, with fine notes of vanilla and white lilac. There are also discreet hints of toasted almond, pepper and salinity. The palate is fresh, juicy and offers minerality, a tangy frame, roundness, fat, a little spherical side, a little airy side as well as a slight tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy apples, tangy quince and more slightly of mandarin / dried mandarin zest associated with touches of dry yellow grapes, tangy green apple as well as hints of acacia / acacia blossoms, white blossoms, apple cider vinegar, walnuts and a subtle straw note. Without forgetting an imperceptible hint of vanilla in the background. Nice floral finish before going on walnut.
