The nose is very reductive, needs aeration. The palate is tight and restrained, opening up with notes of bramble and wild strawberries, a touch of cranberries and forest raspberries. The wine offers bold, grippy and muscular tannins, elevated, crisp acidity, some restraint. It needs some time to get rounded.
