The nose is fruity, racy and offers elegance, a small richness, a good finesse of the grain as well as elegance. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, black cherry and small notes of toasted, chocolate associated with small touches of tobacco, Sichuan pepper, violet as well as ahint of peony/cornflower. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fine, elegant and offers a beautiful juicy/acidulous frame, tension/straightness as well as juicy/fleshy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, crunchy/juicy red berries and small notes of juicy/acidulous plum associated with fine touches of flowers (rose, lilac, cornflower) as well as hints liquorice stick and discreet hints of mild tobacco. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of fresh hazelnut on the aftertaste.
