Francone – Barbaresco DOCG 2016 Riserva, Neive

Francone – Barbaresco DOCG 2016 Riserva, Neive

On the nose it is very finely tight and offers a very fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and more slightly Damascus plum associated with touches of cherry as well as fine hints of local grove, laurel as well as fine hints of rose, cherry blossoms and a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate it offers freshness, a nice minerality, a certain small roundness, a fine concentration as well as a small delicacy. The wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, fleshy / fresh strawberry and more slightly blackberry associated with touches of lilac, cornflower as well as fine hints of nutmeg, bay berries and a discreet hint of tobacco.
