Forte Masso – Nebbiolo 2017 – Langhe 

The nose is fruity, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a fine intensity / power. It reveals notes of cassis, elderberries and small notes of wild blackberries, violet acidulous candy associated with fine touches of pepper, nutmeg, mocha as well as hints of racy minerality and a very discreet hint of olive. The palate is fruity, juicy, suave, beautifully gourmande and offers a beautiful mineral frame, tension, dynamism, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful guideline as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, elderberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of violet acidulous candy, wild raspberry as well as hints of nutmeg, clove, spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper (in the background). There is an imperceptible hint of cocoa and black olive on the finish. Tannins are well-built.
