Fontanavecchia – Sannio Piedirosso 2024 – Sannio DOC Piedirosso

The nose is aromatic, velvety, airy and offers a velvety, precise, racy and airy grain. There are notes of bright boysenberry, small brilliant fruits and small notes of mocha, associated with touches of mocha, toasted hazelnut, sense of the place (local biotop) and a hint of balsamic. The palate is nicely mineral, juicy and offers good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, fine suppleness and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/pulpy violet plum and small notes of small red fruits, combined with touches of rose, fresh flowers, as well as fine hints of sweet tobacco, toasted and a subtle, almost oceanic hint. Good length.
