The nose is aromatic, rich and full. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, black olive and crushed strawberry associated with hints of boxwood/garrigue, chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful acid frame, fat, a slight unctuosity as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh wild red berries associated with hints of cassis, plum, subtle touches of spices as well as a discreet hint of undergrowth, an oaky hint and a very discreet hint of mocha. Tannins are fine, slightly dusty and racy. Good length and gourmand persistence. There is an imperceptible iodine hint on the finish.
