(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is aromatic, floral and subtly herbaceous. It expresses notes of lilac, rosehip and peony, combined with touches of wild mint, rosemary and rose leaf. We also find a fresh and tangy fruity substance (red cherry, crushed raspberry, a touch of cranberries, red plum and blueberries), associated with notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, cloves) and roasted aromatic herbs (roasted thyme, roasted rosemary), which appear after aeration, as well as a delicate note of dark chocolate and fresh hazelnut. The palate is juicy, chiseled and tangy. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, tart strawberry, cranberries (with a slight bitterness), red plum, blueberry and crushed raspberry, associated with floral (rose, peony), herbaceous (fresh thyme, bay leaf, peppermint) and spicy (licorice, nutmeg) notes. The tannins are young, grippy and dry on the finish, but rather fine and balanced by a salivating acidity. Good persistence and freshness and a delicate touch of cocoa on the finish.
